William "Mac" George McKinnis

DAPHNE, AL. William George “Mac” McKinnis, Age 66, a native of Prattville, AL., and a resident of Daphne, AL., passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at his residence. He was a Vietnam Veteran and retired after twenty-eight and one half years U.S. Army National Guard. Mac was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie Garner McKinnis and a brother Emmitt McKinnis. Survivors include his wife, Marla Novak McKinnis of Daphne, AL.;  four sons, Alex (Belinda) Young of Murphysboro, TN., Jason (Erica) Young of Bay Minette, AL., Reggie McKinnis of Bay Minette, AL. and Derek (Charity) McKinnis of Daphne, AL; two step-daughters, Christina and Juliea Anna; two brothers, Howard McKinnis and Hugh McKinnis both of Florida; eleven grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
