BATTLES WHARF, AL.Paul Darron Wood, age 80, a native of Mobile, AL and a resident of Battles Wharf, AL, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013.Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his parents John Woodson Wood, Jr. and Carmela Brincat Wood; brother, John Woodson Wood III; sisters, Carmela Marie Wood and Dorothy Angela Wood.He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy M. Wood of Battles Wharf; son, Paul Darron (Marilyn) Wood, Jr. of Mobile; daughter, Sheila Wood (Ned) Egbert of Daphne; grandchildren, Paul Darron Wood III, Theresa Jill Wood, Elizabeth Bailey Wood, Stephen McDonough Wood, all of Mobile, Christina Kay Egbert of Daphne; sister, Gloria Wood Silvernail of Mobile; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. A memorial mass will be held from St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope, AL Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 11:00am.
