Jolly Matthews Fields

DAPHNE, AL Jolly Matthews Fields, age 86, a native of Columbus, GA, a former resident of Montgomery, AL and a resident of Daphne, AL passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Harrison Fields, sister, Mae Gordy Matthews, and son Joseph Michael Fields. She is survived by her children: Jack(Laura) Fields of Foley, AL, George (Joanna) Fields of Daphne, AL, Jay Fields of Daphne, AL, Teresa Allen of Fitzpatrick, AL, David (Judi) Fields and Bernie(Traci) Fields of Montgomery, AL , and Fr. William Dominic Fields, O. P., Louisville, KY; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and sister Sarah Mitchell of Columbus, GA, daughter-in law: Tracey Fields of Daphne, AL, numerous nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne, AL, Wednesday June 19, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Christ the King Catholic Church, Daphne, AL, Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 10 A.M. Interment will be held in Forrest Hills Memorial Park, Montgomery, AL, Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to :The Burse Club or Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Mobile.
