Ashley Brooke Coburn

COBURN, GULF SHORES, AL Brooke Coburn, age 21, born in Lawrenceville, GA and resident of Gulf Shores, passed away Thursday, June 13, in Gulf Shores. Brooke will always be remembered as the “life of the party” and her gigantic sense of humor. She was fearless, easy going and always up for an adventure. Her mother remembers her as a little girl, she was like a “bull in a china shop” always into something. Brooke is dearly missed by all her family and friends that knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, George William Coburn. Brooke is survived by her mother and stepfather, Mandy and Marty Cotter of Gulf Shores; sisters, Hailey Thompson of Gulf Shores, Jenny Thompson of Nashville, TN; brother, Bobby Thompson of Peachtree City, GA and their father, Lee Thompson, Jr. of Peachtree City, GA; stepsister, Erica White of Foley; stepbrothers, Marty Cotter, Jr. of Fairbury, IL, Jeff Cotter of Kennesaw, GA; grandparents, Reba and Ed Laughlin of Lawrenceville, GA and Tommy Miller of Georgia. A memorial mass was held Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church.
