Welch, Jr., his parents, Addison Joe Welch and Maybell Williamson and his siblings, Harold Welch and Jean CrosbyHe leaves behind his loving wife of fifty-four years, Kathryn Welch, his children, daughter, Denise Welch Garriga (James) of Pascagoula, MS; sons, James B. Welch (Wendy) of Carriere, MS., and Dewey W.
