THOMPSON ORANGE BEACH, AL Helen Frances Thompson, age 89, a native of Bay Minette, AL and a resident of Orange Beach, AL passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013. She was a member of Orange beach Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Thompson was the President of the Mobile Educators Credit Union and was a Worthy Matron of the Order Of The Eastern Star in Spanish Fort. She travelled the world extensively and always said Bear Point was the best place on earth. Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Howell E. Thompson, Sr. and a son, Howell E. Thompson, Jr. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and the community of Bear Point, AL. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A Graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Bay Minette Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orange Beach Fire & Rescue, ATTN; Fire Dept., P.O.
