Ophelia Overstreet Mullek

MULLEK ELBERTA, AL Ophelia Overstreet Mullek, age 63, native of Bay Minette and resident of Elberta passed away Friday, May 10, 2013. Mrs. Mullek was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife to Al, whom she supported through many years of employment at Wolf Bay Lodge, and retirement as a teacher and school bus driver in Baldwin County. Mrs. Mullek was preceded in death by her father, Sherman Overstreet, and great grandson, Gavin Church. She is survived by her husband, Al Mullek of Elberta; three children, Jeanine Fowler of Pensacola; Wade Mullek and his wife, Beth of Tyngsboro, MA; Angela Mullek of Elberta; mother, Helen Overstreet of Bay Minette; a sister, Bobbie Paul; three brothers, Leon Overstreet, Wayne Overstreet, Claude Overstreet, all of Bay Minette; six grandchildren, Jonathan Fowler, Ciara Church, Logan Mullek, Lace Granthum, Joey Mullek and Mary Mullek. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Elberta. The family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass.
