William Jack Jenkins

PERDIDO BEACH, AL William “Jack” Jenkins, age 74, a native of Millry, AL and a current resident of Perdido Beach, AL, passed away Saturday, February 02, 2013. Jack was employed with CSX Transportation in Mobile, AL, Louisville, KY and Jacksonville, FL, where he retired. Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his parents William B. & Edna Jenkins, Sisters, Virginia Earl Saul, Glo Ethel Taylor (Harvey), Louise Hopkins (Ollie), Brother, Joseph Berry Jenkins (Ann). He is survived by his wife of 49 ½ years, Barbara Chunn Jenkins of Perdido Beach, AL; sons, William Berry Jenkins & Robert Wade Jenkins, both of Freeport, FL; sisters, Velma Lucille Growden (Roger) of Austin, TX,Leni Jackson of Johnson City, TN, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, AL, Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at 10:00am.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00am until the service time. Graveside services and interment will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at 2:00pm, in Rocky Hill Cemetery, Uriah, AL.
