George Geci

SUMMERDALE, AL George Geci, age 91, a native of Warsaw, WI, and resident of Summerdale, AL, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013. He was a WWII Vet, serving on the USS West Virginia in the Pacific, and a founding member of Marlow-Fish River Volunteer Fire Department. He is preceded in death by his son, Eugene Geci. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Bertie Geci of Summerdale, AL, children, Linda Robinson of Summerdale, AL, Ken Geci (Hilda) of Huntsville, AL, Nancy Anderson (Jerry) of Fairhope, AL, Norma Wiggins (Larry) of Stapleton, AL, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, t hree great-great grandchildren, brother, Edwin Geci (Joy) of Mobile, AL, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, January 25, 2013, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at 10:00 am, the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, AL. Interment will be at Marlow Cemetery.
