Ann Reese Grote

DAPHNE, AL Ann Reese Grote, born on January 18, 2010, left this earth to be with God on December 24, 2012, a few weeks before her birthday when she would have been alive for 3 short years. She was truly the happiest, friendliest, most loving child ever born. Ann Reese brightened the spirit of everyone around her and she is sorely grieved by her family and many friends. Typifying her happy countenance, she and her mother, Amy, would often sing "You are my Sunshine" together. She is survived by her parents, David and Amy Grote; great-grandfathers, Kenneth Knowles and Milford Homan; grandparents, Steve and Peggy Grote, Dane and Lisa Brunies, Bill Wilson, Darrel and Diane Homan; her Mimi Dot Knowles; aunts and uncles, Travis and Laura Grote, Ryan Wilson, Trent Brunies, Ken and Sonia Phillips, Ralph and Elaine Knowles, Joel and Debbie Williams, Gela and Reece West and Denise Gordon. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012, 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Coastal Church in Daphne. Graveside services will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens in Daphne.
