Scott Jeffrey Ward

SILVERHILL, AL   Deputy Scott Jeffrey Ward, age 47, born in Biloxi, MS, and a resident of Silverhill, AL, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012.  Scott had been with the Baldwin County Sheriff Department for 15 years and was a member of the US Coast Guard Reserve PSU Unit 308 Maritime Enforcement Second Class Petty Officer (ME2).  Scott loved his family and friends, and serving his community and country.  Scott was loved and respected by his fellow deputies and members of the Coast Guard. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Howard E. Ward, Jr., his grandparents, Howard and Candice Ward, Willem Koppelaar and Georgina Beaudoin. Scott is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Elizabeth Fisher Ward of Silverhill, AL, mother, Cheryl Ward of Daphne, AL, brother, Howard E. Ward, III of Mobile, AL, mother and father-in-law, Frederick and Mary Jane Fisher of Daphne, AL, brother-in-law, Frederick (Pam) W. Fisher, III of Foley, AL, three sisters-in-law, Vicky  (Kenneth) Speetjens of Daphne, AL, Cissy (John) Fish of Hickory, NC, PJ  (Preston) Sute of Foley, AL, two uncles, Jack Ward, Stephen (Marilyn) Ward of Fairhope, AL, other relatives and friends. A visitation will be Monday, November, 26, 2012, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, AL. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 10:00 AM, from Fairhope Civic Center. Scott will lie in state at 9:00 AM until time of service.
