Voncile Grissette Stratis

FAIRHOPE, AL Voncile Grissette Stratis, age 90, born Dec. 25, 1921, a native of Wallace, AL, and resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 127 and Civitan International, earned two Masters Degrees from Troy State University in Psychology and Counseling.  She retired from Social Security Administration and founded Stratis of Fairhope. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Henry Reinhart and Leo Stratis, son, Ron Stratis, grandchildren, Kerri McShane Dye and Steven Tucker. Mrs. Stratis is survived by four daughters, Georgia (Paul) McShane of Fairhope, AL, Bonny (Joe) Tucker of Pascagoula, MS, Marti (Michael) Browning of Daphne, AL, Connie (Richard) McRae of Spanish Fort, AL, three sons, Tony (Julie) Reinhart of Mobile, AL, Harold (Veronica) Reinhart of Fairhope, AL, Michael (Evelyn) Reinhart of Fairhope, AL, 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, November 9, 2012, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at 10:00 am, at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home.
