George Edward DelHomme

FAIRHOPE , AL   George Edward DelHomme, age 65, native of Mobile and resident of Fairhope, passed away Friday, September 7, 2012. Mr. DelHomme was a veteran of the US Marine Corp serving in Vietnam , where he received the Purple Heart.  He was a graduate of McGill Institute and the University of South Alabama .  George was employed by the Alabama Service Center , Goodrich, Foley , AL and was on the Board of Directors for ARCBC.   He was preceded in death by his father, Selwyn Anthony DelHomme, Sr.   He is survived by his wife, Catherine E. DelHomme of Fairhope , AL ;  two sons, Christopher M. DelHomme of Rosinton , AL ,  Patrick J. (Kate) DelHomme of Missoula, MT; mother, Mary Belew of Fairhope, AL; a brother, Selwyn Anthony DelHomme, Jr. of Naples, FL and two grandchildren, P.J. and Olivia DelHomme of Missoula, MT and numerous loving friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope from 5:00-7:00 pm. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ARCBC, P.O.
