TURNER FAIRHOPE Ms. F. Gaynor Turner, age 90, passed away August 28 at Fairhope, AL.  Ms. Turner graduated from Sidney Lanier High School, Montgomery and the University of Alabama class of 1945.  She was retired from the Alabama Department of Public Safety, Drivers License Bureau after 30 years service. She was a devout Alabama fan, and "Roll Tide" will never be as loud as when she was participating.  She was preceded by her parents Gaynor St. John Turner and Lucia Richardson Turner and her partner of 45 years, Julia Stuart. She is survived by several cousins and a massive number of dear friends who love her as though she were family. The funeral will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 28788 North Main Street, Daphne,  AL 36526, on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11:00AM with reception to be held at the church immediately following the service. Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012, at 2:00PM, in Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL. The Reverend Thack Dyson will officiate the funeral and graveside services. A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Marcie Morrow, Mr. Scott Morrow, Ms. Gaye Wilson, Ms. Jeanne Alton, Mr. Ron Reece, Ms. Lynette Guin, Ms. Ellie Shotts and Mrs. Donna Nolte for all the time they have devoted to caring for Gaynor during her extended disability and illnesses. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Bldg Fund,  South Alabama Cares, 2054 Dauphin St., Mobile, AL 36606 or to a charity of your choice.
