Doris Mabel Gipson

DAPHNE, AL Doris Mabel Gipson, age 72, a resident of Daphne, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012 in New Brunswick, Canada. Mrs. Gipson was a longtime active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, where she was involved in many volunteer groups assisting in the care of others.  She will be remembered always for being there in the time of need for family and friends. She is survived by her three daughters, Lynn (Chester) Lewis of Citronelle, Cynthia Dodd of Fairhope, and Sharon Castle of Daphne; one son, Fred (Peggy) Castle of Covington, LA; three sisters:  Alice Rieben of Bay Minette, Evie Mohler of Fairhope, Patsy Mayo of Riverview, FL;  nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, many devoted friends, nieces, nephews and loving relatives. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.  A reception will follow at the church.
