Charles E. Nelson, III

FAIRHOPE , AL Charles E. Nelson, III, age 74, a native and resident of Fairhope , AL , passed away Friday August 10, 2012.   He received his BS Degree from Auburn University and his Masters Degree from the University of South Alabama .  He was an active member of Liberty Church in Fairhope and enjoyed running, hunting, and fishing.   Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife of 50 years, Glenda Nelson of Fairhope , AL , son, C. Glenn Nelson (Shayne) of Cumming , GA , daughter, Valerie Manning (Rob) of Helena , AL , 4 grandchildren,  Alexa and Prescot Nelson, both of Cumming , GA , Michael and Kate Manning, both of Helena , AL , brother, Malcolm Nelson (Cheryl) of Daphne, AL, niece, Kimberly N. Ralph of Daphne, AL, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 3:00 PM, at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope , AL . The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
