Michael John "Tank" Young

LAVERGNE, TN Michael John “Tank” Young, a resident of Lavergne TN, born January 16, 1969 in Stuttgart Germany departed this life Thursday July 12, 2012. Michael John was preceded in death by his father Ret. Msg. Johnny Young, his grandparents Mr.  and Mrs. Curtis R. Harris and Mr. and Mrs. Willie Young Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Freddie H. Young, one brother Rodney W. (Vickie) Young  of Murfreesboro TN, two sisters; Denise Y. Shaw and Jacqueling A. Young of Daphne AL. He also leaves his daughter Alexis N. Fortson of Murfreesboro TN. He also leaves his nieces  Kayla McGowan, Dominique Young  and  Chyra  Young of Murfreesboro, Brianna Shaw and Melissa  Shaw of Daphne AL  and his only nephew Randall Shaw II of Daphne, AL. nine uncles and ten aunts. His dear companion Angela Sisco and close friend Clayton (Trena) Harris  III.  A host of loving cousins  and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held from the Shrine of the Holy Cross, Saturday, July 21, 2012, at 11:00am. Michael John will lie in state at the church from 9:00am until the service time.
