Esther Wilson Young

YOUNG FOLEY, AL Esther W. Young, age, 96 of Foley, AL passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012. She is preceded in death by, Robert D. Young, Ashton Baugh III and one son Michael D. Young    She is survived by three sons, Robert W. (Evelyn) Young of Fairhope, Ralph E. (Monica) Young of Orange Beach, and Frank W. (Laurie) Young of Foley; ten grandchildren; Ashley (Danny) Forshe, Ann Michele (Jay) East, Tricia (Neal) Peterson, Michael Young Jr., Dan Young, Mary Helen (Matt) Short, Jennifer Young, Ryan Young, Cory Young and Shelley Young. Daughters-in-law, wife of Mike, Evelyn Bowman, former wife of Ralph, Jody Young and five great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.  She was a member of the St. Pauls Episcopal Church, the Performing Arts Association in Foley, the Revelers, and the Fairhope Yacht Club. She hosted numerous Foreign Exchange Students for numerous years and was an avid golfer. One of Esther greatest achievements other than her family was that she performed on Broadway in the 1930’s. Visitation will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley, Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral services will be Monday, July 9, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.  Mrs. Young will lie-in-state at the church one hour prior to the service Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley, AL.
