Benjamin "Ben' Zinder

FAIRHOPE, AL Ben Zinder, age 87, native of Brooklyn, NY, former resident of Birmingham and resident of Fairhope, AL passed away Friday, June 22, 2012. Mr. Zinder was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. Ben was an avid tennis player, enjoyed reading and was a longtime Alabama Football and Atlanta Braves fan. Ben was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie Zinder; sister, Florence Falchook. He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Woolsey of Spanish Fort; two sons, Mark Zinder of Nashville, TN, Glenn Zinder of Trussville, AL; and seven grandchildren, Tara and Craig Woolsey, Drew, Katie and Hannah Zinder, Tyler and Chris Zinder. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Springhill Avenue Temple Cemetery.
