Beverly Sherman Ballina

DAPHNE, AL. Beverly Sherman Ballina, Age 88, a native of Mobile, a former resident of New Orleans, residing in Daphne, AL passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at a local hospital. She retired from the Department of Agriculture after 37 years of service, and was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Parish, New Orleans. Mrs. Ballina is preceded in death by a sister, Cathryn Richard. Survivors include her husband, Harold R. Ballina of Daphne, AL; one son, Brian (Sharen) Ballina of Metairie, LA, one daughter, Dr. Robin Ballina of MN; one brother, Francis Scheuermann; one grandson, Bryce Ballina; nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. A memorial mass will be said on Monday, June 11 2012 at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of the mass.In lieu of flowers, her family request memorial donations be made to the Shrine of Holy Cross or to Notre Dame Seminary, New Orleans, LA.
