Lorene Virginia Banks

BANKSSPANISH FORT, AL. Lorene Virginia Banks, age 86, a native of Bessemer, Alabama and a resident of Spanish Fort passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. She was Vice-President of Valerie Banks Designs, Inc. Until his death in 1985 her husband Reverend Martin Banks, Sr. pastored throughout the state of Alabama at many Baptist Churches. She is preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Martin Banks, Sr. and a son, Martin Banks, Jr. Mrs. Banks is survived by three daughters, Madelle Banks Hancock of Birmingham, AL, Valerie Banks of Spanish Fort, AL and Sybil Banks Woodall of Manassas, VA; one brother, John W. Cruse of Florence, AL; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Graveside services and interment will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 1:00pm at Currie-Jefferson Cemetery, Hoover, AL.
