Margaret Teresa Kaufman

DAPHNE Margaret “Peggy” Kaufman, age 71, was welcomed into the open arms of Jesus, Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Peggy was a longtime member of Christ The King Catholic Church. She was a former employee of the Department of the Treasury, a former New York City Police Officer, and former president of the PTA. She is survived by, her loving husband of 45 years, Ronald S. Kaufman of Daphne, one daughter: Julie Kaufman of Daphne; one son, Ronald Christopher Kaufman of Houston, TX.; two sisters: Frances Nolan of Kilcormac, Ireland, Helen Farley of Denver, CO;  two brothers: James Carney of Derry, Ireland, Thomas Carney of Lodi, NJ; three grandchildren: Leah S. Kaufman, Rachel C. Kaufman, Susanna B. Kaufman all of Houston TX., many loving relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Christ The King Catholic Church.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass. Interment will follow at Belforest Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ The King Catholic School, P.O. Drawer 1890. Daphne, AL  36526.
