DAPHNE, AL Gregory Sanford Grice, age 44, a native of Mobile and a resident of Daphne, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Greg will be remembered for his numerous contributions in the field of Biotechnology and his tireless effort to promote business development in the State of Alabama. He was a visionary who knew that thriving local businesses meant our children would come home to stay. He was an amazing husband, father, son, uncle, mentor, and friend; his absence creates an enormous void in countless lives. He is survived by his wife, Jenny Grace, M.D.; step children, Hannah and Jake Walters; his parents, Max and Martha Grice, all of Daphne; brother, Russell T. Grice and his wife Sandra; sister, Kimberly Mitchell and her husband Mark; nieces, Deejee Mitchell, Sandi and Gillian Grice, all of Fairhope; Jenny’s parents, Dan and Julie Grace of Pensacola; Her sister, Missy Callari and her husband Jim of Atlanta, GA; many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held from St. James Episcopal Church Monday, May 21, 2012 at 4pm.
