William Dean Nesset

NESSET GULF SHORES, AL Dr. William Dean Nesset, age 95, native of Canby, MN and a resident of Gulf Shores, AL passed away Monday, April 30, 2012.Dr. Nesset had a private practice in Minneapolis, MN for 31 years.  He retired to Fairhope, AL in 1984 and moved to Gulf Shores in 1993. He attended Luther College and U of MN Medical School.  He was an avid skier, golfer and traveler. He loved the mountains, beach and family. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary T. Nesset of Gulf Shores, AL;  son, Eric W. (Yvonne Stinson) Nesset of Thomasville, GA; daughters, Carrie M. (John) Tietz of Excelsior, MN,  Laurie J. (Dan) Ellis of Heber City, UT,  Joan E. (Chris) Wilson of Shorewood, MN;  nine grandchildren, Christian, Erik (Helen) and Jonathan Tietz,  Sarah, Cailin and Brenna Ellis,  Kelly, Drew and Derek Akins;  and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 at 1:00 pm at St. Jude’s By The Sea Lutheran Church, Gulf Shores, AL.
