Ruthie Sanders

SANDERSFAIRHOPE, AL Ruthie Sanders, age 92, native of Whitfield, AL went to be with the Lord Monday, April 9, 2012 in Fairhope. She was a member of Christian Valley Baptist Church. Ms. Sanders was an active member in the community and after many years of service retired as a Nurses Aid from Beasley’s Nursing Home, now Fairhope Health and Rehabilitation.  She is survived by a sister, Georgia Mae Robertson of Purvis, MS; step-children, Louis Sellers of Atlanta, GA,  Lizzie Harris, Woodie Sanders both of Tuscaloosa;  niece, Lettie Donald of Cleveland, OH; a host of nieces and nephews; Godson and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Jacqueline Tucker of Fairhope;  three devoted friends, Norman Smith, Roosevelt McCreary and Dossie “Sue” Wainwright. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11:00 am at Christian Valley Baptist Church in Fairhope.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
