Gene Costa

  FAIRHOPE , AL   Gene Costa, departed this life on Thursday, March 29, 2012.   He was born in Rochester, NY and resident of Fairhope, AL since 1992.   Born August 15, 1939, he attended Jefferson H.S., Hobart College in Geneva and State University of New York.   He did his graduate work at Brockport State, Rochester Institute of Technology, and the University of Rochester.   He worked 31 years as an educator in Gates-Chili H.S.   He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Christopher Costa and Agnes Spinelli Costa.   He is survived by his loving wife, Eva (Evi) Costa of Fairhope, AL, daughter, Janine Costa Denton of Hopkinsville, KY, three grandsons, Michael Denton, Jason Denton, and Josh Denton, siblings, Sylvia and Donald Dattalo, Jack and Marie Costa, sister-in-law, Antonia and Helmut Reichspfarrer of Baden/Vienna, Austria, 4 nieces, Karin, Christine, Andrea, and Traci.   Mr. Costa was a people oriented person and loved the people he met while traveling to 17 different countries.   A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.                                                      ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC. 19698 GREENO ROAD FAIRHOPE, AL 36532 (251) 990-7775
