Paul R. Maradik

FAIRHOPE , AL Paul R. Maradik, Jr., age 68, a native and current resident of Fairhope , Alabama passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Paul served in the Army National Guard for eight years at the Fairhope Alabama Unit.  He was a certified FAA Inspector and he worked at Pemco in Dothan , Alabama for over 13 years.  Paul retired from United Parcel Service Major Aircraft Maintenance Division after 22 years of service.  During his service with UPS, he was stationed at many worldwide locations.  Facilities include Singapore , Frankfurt Germany , Toulouse France , Manchester United Kingdom, Louisville Kentucky , Seattle Washington , and Mobile Alabama .  He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Maradik Sr. and Margaret Louise Maradik of Fairhope , Alabama . He was a loving husband to his wife, Barbara Maradik of Atlanta, Georgia; loving father to son and daughter-in-law Brian and Melissa Maradik of LaGrange, Georgia and  Matthew Maradik of Newport News, Virginia. He is survived by his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Norma Maradik of Navarre , Florida and David and Betty Maradik of Fairhope , Alabama .  Paul was a loving grandfather to his granddaughters, Emma Maradik and Hillory Griffin, both from Lagrange , Georgia . He is also survived by his nieces, Katie Maradik of Fairhope , Alabama , Melinda Bowden of Robertsdale , Alabama , Melissa Osborne of Foley , Alabama ; nephew Jason Maradik of Navarre , Florida ; and Michael D. Maradik of Philadelphia , Pennsylvania . Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at 11:00 AM from St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope , AL .
