Barbara Sinclair Priester

DAPHNE Barbara S. Priester, age 79, a native of Stonewall, MS. and a longtime resident of Daphne passed away Monday, February 27, 2012. She served as bookkeeper for the USS Battleship Alabama for many years.   Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all. She was a devout Christian lady, whose spiritual gift was in serving others. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Priester; her parents, George and Euna Sinclair; and her brother, Roy Sinclair. She is survived by her son, George (Kerri) Priester of Huntsville; daughter, Jane P. (Jack) Miles of Daphne; six grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley (Dawson) Curtis of Gulfport, MS and Shelby Mattos of Montgomery; sister-in-law, Nina Sinclair and many relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne.
