Vincent Michael Gregorius

FAIRHOPE , AL   Vincent Michael Gregorius, age 94, native of Wisconsin and a resident of Fairhope, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012.   During WWII, Mr. Gregorius was in the Merchant Marines and following the war he went into the Naval Reserves   He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus #8959 and was an avid gardener and master builder.   Mr. Gregorius was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Viola M. Gregorius.   He is survived by four sons, Donald V. (Juanita) Gregorius of Spanish Fort, Richard E. (Lorena) Gregorius, David A. (Elizabeth) Gregorius both of Fairhope, Vincent M. Gregorius, Jr. of Foley;  a daughter, Shirley E. (Pat) Bankester of Bay Minette;  two brothers, Melvin Gregorius of Spanish Fort, AL, Glyn Gregorius of Fairhope, AL, 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.   The family will receive friends Thursday, January 26, 2012, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 27, 2012, at 10:00 am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.   Interment will be at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Lawrence Catholic Church Building Fund.   ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC. 19698 GREENO ROAD FAIRHOPE , AL   36532
