Ruth Imogene Carter

MONTROSE , AL   Ruth Laubenthal Carter, age 88, a native of Decatur , AL and a resident of Montrose , AL , passe d away Friday, January 20, 2012.   Ruth was always a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Her spirit of love was an inspiration to all who knew her.   Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her loving husband of 6 6 years, Claude I. Carter.   She is survived by her three daughters and one son, Connie Carter (Jim) Hayes of Stuart, FL, Ann Carter (John) Hawkins of Gretna, NE, Theresa Carter (David) Jellenc, Michael Claude (Debbie) Carter, all of Montrose, AL , 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, many other relatives and friends.   The family would like to thank Irene Bryant for her many years of loving service to the Carter Family.  Special thanks also to Marni, Wanda, K u wandra, Dawn, Erin , Gladys, and her other caregivers, as well as the staff at Robertsdale Healt hcare Center .   On Saturday, January 28 th , 2012 the family will receive friends at Christ t he King Catholic Church from 10:00am until the Rosary at 10:45am.
