Elden "Buddy" Munson

LILLIAN, AL Mr. Elden “Buddy” Munson, age 91, a native and life long resident of Lillian, AL passed away January 18, 2012 in Pensacola, FL. Mr. Munson is a retired Navy veteran of WWII. Member of Mason Lodge in Lillian, Shriner member 9 mile road temple in Pensacola, FL, Life time member of VFW Post in Elberta, Lillian Community Club Center. Preceded in Death by his wife June Dilts Munson, Partner and Best friend, Lucille Rider, parents, Burt and Florie Munson, Sister Marie Austin and nephew Kevin Munson. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Linda (Jim) Andrews of Lillian, AL; Dene (Mike) Valen of Apollo Beach, FL, Brother, Everettt (Vera) Munson of Elberta, AL, Grandchildren, Sherry Andrews Stockwell, Aric (Cindy) Andrews, Edwin Valen, Dustin (Sara) Vaughn, Great Grandchildren, Olivia & Bridget Andrews, Francesca & Jacob Stockwell, Nephew, Terry Munson, Niece, Carolyn Austin (Richard) VanDamne, Great Nephews, Dale & David (Anna) VanDamne, Great Nieces, Amanda and Allison, Great Great Nephew, Brandon VanDamne, Extended family of the late Lucille Rider. Special Thanks to Patricia Spearman for being a loving care taker of our father for many years, and to Odyssey Hospice. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, AL, Friday, January 20, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
