Daniel Mastrone

SPANISH FORT, AL Daniel Andrew Mastrone, age 40, a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away on January 11, 2012. Dan was born in Washington, D.C. on Dec. 2, 1971. He was a 1990 graduate of Guilford High School, Guilford, CT and received his B.S. degree from Quinnipiac University, Hamden, CT. He was a Division Manager with Forest Pharmaceuticals where he achieved many awards, including entry into the coveted “President’s Club.” Dan is survived by his beloved wife, Caron “Shelley” Langan Mastrone, sons, Andrew and Matthew Mastrone, parents, David and Barbara Mastrone, of Fairhope, AL, sister, Linda Mastrone , and brother, Nicholas Mastrone (Kimberly) of Huntersville, NC. Also to cherish his memory are his mother-in-law, Patricia (Thomas, Sr.) Langan and brothers-in-law, Thomas Langan, Jr. (Terri) and Mark Langan (Diana).In addition, he leaves behind nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and many devoted friends. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Daniel Cameron and his staff at the Mitchell Cancer Institutefor their compassionate care. Also the family especially wishes to thank Father Matthew J. O’Connor of Christ the King Catholic Church for his spiritual care and guidance. The family also wishes to recognize the prayerful and loving support of all caregivers, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 16, 2012, at 11:00 am, from Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne, AL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile, AL.
