Antonio Rivera

FOLEY, AL Antonio Rivera, age 75, a native of Puerto Rico and a resident of Foley AL, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012. He was active in the community and the American Legion.  Having proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, his patriotic roots ran deep and kept him politically active, most recently aiding the George W. Bush Campaign.  He was very loved and will be missed by his friends and family from New Orleans to Miami.  His generosity was renown and his smile infectious.  Mr. Rivera will be remembered by many as "the voice of reason".  He is survived by one daughter, Gina Rivera of Odenton, MD, three sons, Glenn Rivera of Pompano Beach, FL, Jeffery Rivera of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Daren Rivera of Marianna, FL, and five grandchildren.The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, AL on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A celebration of life service will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, AL, on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 2:00 PM.
