Elizabeth "Meme" Ray

RAYFOLEY, AL Elizabeth “Meme” Ray, age 80, born in Frisco City and resident of Foley passed away Friday, January 6, 2012. Ms. Ray was a former longtime employee of Wright’s Drugs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray and a son, Bobby Ray. She is survived by two daughters, Donna (Clarence) Willis of Bon Secour,  Dianna (Philip) Wingate of Charleston, SC;  two sons, Butch (Karen) Ray of Josephine,  Michael (Angela) Ray of Magnolia Springs;  three brothers, Preston Cross of Oregon,  Earl (Maxine) Cross of Foley,  Johnny “Kit” (Suzanne) Cross of Atlanta, GA;  four sisters, Lettie Chancery of Flomaton,  Katie Carlee of Atmore, Ruth Stabler and Jeanette Toler both of Foley;  fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm  and Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 9-9:30 am at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. A funeral procession will depart at 9:30 am from the funeral home. A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10 am at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley.
