Dorothy Allen Williams

FAIRHOPE, AL                            Dorothy Allen Williams, age 84, lifelong resident of Fairhope and retired educator, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 17, 2011.Mrs. Williams was an active member of Twin Beech AME Zion Church and the Order Of The Eastern Star.  She taught school in Baldwin County for over 35 years.She was preceded in death by her husband, Herzoll Williams, her parents, Irving Cleveland Allen and Bessie Smith Allen;  sisters, Helen Guice, Polly Bonner, Ida Allen Holt; brothers, Irving Leonard Allen and Rudolph Allen.Mrs. Williams is survived by a stepdaughter, Thelma Williams Thomas of Fairhope;  two sons, Lionel (Bessie) Williams, of Forestville, MD,  Leonard (Margaret) Williams, of Fairhope; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be Friday, December 23, 2011 at Twin Beech AME Zion Church at 11:00 am.
