Samuel Ransom Odom

FOLEY, AL Samuel Ransom Odom, US Army (Ret.) age 67, native of Mobile and resident of Foley passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011. Sgt. Odom retired from the U.S Army in 2001 and was a member of the VFW Post 164 and the American Legion. He is survived by a daughter, Cathy (Sharon) Odom of Foley; three sons, Samuel R. Odom, Jr. of Kentucky, Steven Odom, Walter Odom; a sister, Brenda Richardson, a brother, Bobby Wayne Odom, all of Mobile and ten grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, December 15, 2011, from 5-7 pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011, at 11:45 am, at Barrancas National Cemetery.
