Walter Charles Abrams

DAPHNE, AL   Walter Charles Abrams, age 82, a native of Brooklyn, NY, a former resident of Amherst, NH, and Port Charlotte, FL, and a current resident of Daphne, AL passed away with family at his side, Monday, December 5, 2011.   He was a Korean War Veteran of the Army and attended many reunions for veterans of the war.   Mr. Abrams was a member of the Shrine of the Holy Cross, Elks Club, and American Legion.   He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary E. Abrams of Daphne, AL, two sons, Dennis Abrams and his wife Elizabeth of Derby, KY, Arthur Abrams and his wife Cindy of Iowa City, IA, three daughters, Arlene Magoon and her husband Ron of Amherst, NH, Barbara Collinsworth and her husband Stephen of Fairhope, AL, Lorraine Pascucci and her husband Steve of Goffstown, NH, 18 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.   Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011, at 10:00 AM, at the Shrine of The Holy Cross in Daphne, AL.   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association P.O.
