Eugene Rundquist

ACWORTH, GA Eugene A. Rundquist, 80, of Acworth, GA, went to live with his Lord on Thursday, December 1, 2011. Gene was born in Silverhill, AL on March 8, 1931 to Axel and Evelyn Rundquist. He and Betty Chandler of Silverhill were married in 1953. After returning from his tour of duty in Korea, Gene and Betty settled in Sacramento, CA. Gene’s career as an aerospace engineer took them to south Florida. Gene is survived by three daughters, Cathy Rundquist, Pamela Montgomery and Tony Lanius, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He had an indelible impact on many lives and he is sadly missed by all. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, AL, Wednesday, December 7, 2011, from 4:00 until 6:00PM.
