GULF SHORES, AL Alejandro“Profeta” Mendez, Jr., age 34, a native of Hereford, TX and a resident of Gulf Shores, AL, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011. Alex is preceded in death by his sister, Tina Mendez of Hereford TX. He is survived by his three daughters, Jayden Driskell of Robertsdale, AL, Citlaly and Selena Mendez both of Bon Secour, AL, wife, Catarin Mendez of Bon Secour, AL, mother, Maria Cabarrubia, dad, Lorenzo Cabarrubia both of Bon Secour, AL, father, Alejandro Mendez of Hereford, TX, two brothers, Larry Cabarrubia of Bon Secour, AL,and Juan Mendez of  Hereford, TX. four sisters, Maria E. Rodriguez of Weslaco, TX, Krystal (Michael) DeJesus of Mobile, AL, Monica (Roosevelt) Cavazos of Bon Secour, AL, Esmeralda Cabarrubia of Bon Secour, AL, and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, AL, Wednesday, December 7, 2011, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
