Victoria Chandler Burt

SPANISH FORT, AL Victoria Chandler Burt, age 62, native of Chattanooga, TN and resident of Spanish Fort passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011. Ms. Burt graduated from Fairhope High School and received her BA Degree from Rhodes College, Memphis, TN and Masters Degrees in Education and English from University of South Alabama. Ms Burt taught various classes at the University of South Alabama and Faulkner State Community College. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Fowler and Annette Smith Chandler. She is survived by a son, Tom Burt and his wife, Kristy of Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Emilie Chandler of Chicago, IL; brothers, Walter Chandler and his wife, Sheila, of Newport News, VA, Judson Chandler of Charleston, SC and two grandchildren, Taylor and Tyler Burt. A Celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
