Glenn Kevin Reibe

DAPHNE Glenn Kevin Reibe, age 56, a native of New Orleans, LA. and a resident of Daphne since 1994, passed away peacefully at his home, Tuesday, November 2, 2011. Glenn enjoyed working in the shipping industry for over 30 years, finishing his career with the Alabama State Port Authority.  He lived a full and rich life as an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting, camping and traveling.  Glenn took great pride in his daughter Lauren and especially enjoyed watching her compete in volleyball. Glenn’s greatest attributes were being a wonderful husband and father, always putting family first.  He was a compassionate and vibrant person who was highly thought of by everyone he met. Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Fred Reibe.  He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Sharon Cureau Reibe, his loving daughter Lauren Jean Reibe of Daphne, his mother Leatrice Pott Reibe, his brother Ronald Arthur Reibe, two nieces, Jessica Alma Reibe and Jamie Catherine Reibe, and so many wonderful friends. A mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Daphne. The family will receive friends from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the church.
