Lawrence Everett Blackmon

MAGNOLIA SPRINGS, AL Lawrence Everett Blackmon, age 74, a resident of Magnolia Springs, AL, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Mr. Blackmon was a life long member of Magnolia Springs Baptist Church. He was employed with Monsanto Co. for 38 years as a design engineer. He is survived by his daughter, Angela Blackmon Hansen of Magnolia Springs. Two sons, Lawrence E. Blackmon, Jr. (Ginny) of Perdido Beach, and Bradley Crook Blackmon (Laura) of Foley. Four sisters June Blackmon Taylor (Dr. Marvin) of Bon Secour, Polly Blackmon Kelly (James) of Foley, Geraldine Blackmon Gibson (Teddy) of Foley, and Diane Blackmon Sheffield of Bon Secour. Six grandchildren, Karla Hansen, Brook Duddy, Tripp Blackmon, Chantz Blackmon, Bree Blackmon, Mary Micheal Blackmon and three great grandsons. Funeral service will be held at Magnolia Springs Baptist Church, Magnolia Springs, AL, Friday, October 28, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
