James William Devine

FAIRHOPE , AL   James William Devine, age 77, a resident of Fairhope , AL passed away Friday, October 21, 2011 in Pensacola , FL.   Mr. Devine was employed by Thomas Hospital for 35 years as senior mechanic over the engineering department. He was also a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, VFW Post 5660 and Knights of Columbus.   Mr. Devine is preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Devine.   He is survived by his daughter, Stella Maggs and family, nieces, Cookie Gustin, Lulu Graves, Theresa Stafford, nephew, Billy Pack, and other relatives and friends.   The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope , AL , Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M.   Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Fairhope , AL , Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 10:00 A.M.   Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.   In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 370 S.
