Theresa Thedora Brantley

FAIRHOPE, AL Theresa Thedora Brantley, age 85, a native of Mobile, and a resident of Fairhope, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011. “Ganny” as she was known by her family loved working in her garden and cooking for her family and friends.  Food always tasted better at Ganny’s house because it was always made with love.  Theresa had a servant’s heart and spent her life tirelessly caring for her loved ones.  She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed dearly. Mrs. Brantley was preceded in death by her daughter, Charleen Brantley Doyle and grandson, Jeremy Lee Brantley. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bill Brantley of Fairhope,son, Mike Brantley and his wife Donna of Greensboro, NC,grandchildren, Thomas Doyle and his wife Leslie of Mobile,Kimberly D. Starling and her husband Daniel of Fairhope,Jessie Brantley and his wife Renee of Harrodsburg, KY,Paul Doyle and his wife Christi of Daphne,Jonathan Brantley and his wife Jennifer of Greensboro, NC,Jacob Doyle of Nashville, TN,Chase Horner of Greensboro, NC,Brandi Clendenon and her husband Coy of Greensboro, NC,eight great grandchildren,sister, Naomi Phillips and her husband Willie of Mobile,nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Friday, September 9, 2011, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Saturday, September 10, 2011, at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Belforest Catholic Cemetery.
