Agnes Lott Bancroft

DAPHNE, AL Agnes Lott Bancroft, age 89, a native of Mobile and a resident of Daphne, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Mrs. Bancroft was a lifelong member of Government Street Presbyterian Church.  She was also a member of the Junior League of Mobile, the Colonial Dames and several mystic societies.  Agnes was an avid golfer and bridge player, as well as a devoted Auburn supporter. She is survived by her daughters, Jolee Havard,Sally Ussery and her husband Marvin and Scooter Peck, all of Daphne.She is also survived by her grandchildren, Wren Havard of Daphne,John Ross Havard and his wife Lauren of Birmingham,Chason Pizzotti and her husband Judson of Fairhope,and her great grandson, John Asher Bartlett Havard.Adored friends are, Debra Jackson, Eddie Rudolph, Bart Cowart and Jennifer Castillow,along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services and interment will be held in Jubilee Memorial Gardens, Daphne, on Friday, September 9, 2011, at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Government Street Presbyterian Church, 300 Government Street, Mobile, AL 36602, www.gspcmobile.org.
