Donald 'Don' Wilson Nicholas, Jr.

SPANISH FORT Donald Wilson “Don” Nicholas, Jr. age 55, a native of Mobile and a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 in Mobile. Don is a former employee of the Mobile Register, an avid poker player and participated in numerous putt-putt tournaments, even making it to the National Tournament televised on ESPN. He is survived by three sisters; Lisa (Randy) Brooks and Lynn (Gerald) Koors, all of Spanish Fort,  Julie Eddlemon of Shreveport, LA;  two brothers, Mark (Rachel) Nicholas of Mobile and John (Sherry) Nicholas of Edgewater, MD and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
