George "Totty" Alford Bishop

FAIRHOPE, AL George Alford “Totty” Bishop, age 64, a native and lifelong resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Totty was preceded in death by his father, George Otis Bishop, mother, Gracie Claudine Davis Bishop, and brother, Donnie Bishop. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Paula Bishop of Fairhope, children, Lenora “Lee” Havel and her husband Larry of Magnolia Springs, George “Bubba” Bishop, April Read and her husband Jason all of Fairhope, four grandchildren, Leland and Loren Havel, Jaxon Read and Katie Ho, four sisters, Irene Comalander of Fairhope, Jeanette Burgin of Palmdale, CA, Glenda Hamric of Magnolia Springs, Nancy Spaller of Yupon, many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Thursday, August 25, 2011, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Friday, August 26, 2011, at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Brook-Cedron Cemetery, Barnwell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made In Memory of George “Totty” Bishop, at any Regions Bank location.
