Ben S. Holley

FOLEY, AL Ben S. Holley, age 80, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011 at his residence in Foley, Alabama. He was born in Alexander City, Alabama and was raised in Montgomery, Alabama. After serving in the U.S. Air Force he attended and graduated from Auburn University with a degree in business administration. He later graduated from the University of West Florida receiving a degree in accounting and a MBA degree. Ben was retired from the U.S. Civil Service. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Malone Holley of Foley, one son Robert (Joan) Holley of Deltona, Florida, one daughter Sharon Holley Bertschi of Williamsburg, Virginia and his beloved grandson Bill Holley of Deltona, Florida; his brother Pete Holley, many nieces and nephews and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Robert and Cynthia Malone of Gulf Shores, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two brothers and a son John M. Holley. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Chapel on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 12:00 PM.
