SPANISH FORT, AL   W.H.   (Willie) Williams of Spanish Fort, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011.   Born on May 24, 1927 in Grosse Tete, LA, he proudly served the country he loved in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1947.   He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed sports, coaching his four sons in baseball and later watching his grandchildren play.   He worked for Kennedy Engine for many years before starting his own business, Al-Trans, that specialized in Allison Transmissions.   He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mamie Ruth Williams (Young), sons Karl (Gwen), Mike (Kay), Bill (Beth), Mark (Denise) and grandchildren Brett, Wade, Sarah, Jordan, Elizabeth, Stephen and Katie. His heart, spirit and devotion to his family will live on in all of them.   A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held from the Chapel at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne at 11:00 on Friday, August 12, 2011.     The family will receive friends before the service from 10:00-11:00 .   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in his name to The First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort.   ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC 27409 US HWY 98 DAPHNE, AL 36526
