FAIRHOPE, AL Amos Claude “Red” Wagner, age 87, a resident of Fairhope, AL passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011. Mr. Wagner was a 50 year member of the Local 119 Plumbers Union, and after retiring he was the founder of Wagner Plumbing in 1978. He was a member of the Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department for 50 plus years and served twice as Fire Chief. He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by his twin brother, Clarence Wagner and sister, Adele Wagner. He is survived by is loving wife of 64 years, Ruth Wagner, one daughter, Cynthia (Mark) Weiskopf of Silverhill, AL, two sons, Ronnie (Linda) Wagner and Steve Wagner (Todd Prather) all of Fairhope, AL. Three grandchildren, Dustin Wagner, Danyel Snell and Leslie Leachman, Seven Great grandchildren, many other family and friends. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, AL, on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 2:00 utill 4:00. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, AL, on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 4:00. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope, Fairhope, AL.
